John is a corporate trainer and performance coach who has been taking photos since he bought his first camera at the age of 12 with money earned from his paper route. He only recently began exhibiting his images publicly.

John shoots on the Fuji x100v and the Sony a7c, but he is also an avid fan of mobile phone photography, using an old Samsung 10 occasionally to get a desired effect. This "effect” can be anything from a reflection in a puddle of water to a forest landscape or even his non-traditional portraits. Linking these disparate images is a passion for capturing or conjuring the aura of a scene, discovering emotional nuances that often lie hidden in plain view.
